		<description>After re-reading my post, I realize that you are absolutely right. I think the big difference is that kids (as well as people, in general) had so few communication outlets back in the late 80s and early 90s. Now everyone is ultra-connected with numerous communication devices and content distribution channels at their disposal.

Unfortunately, I also realized that I am in no way like Christian Slater. I am so Anthony Michael Hall, especially in The Breakfast Club.
