I think the big difference is that kids (as well as people, in general) had so few communication outlets back in the late 80s and early 90s. Now everyone is ultra-connected with numerous communication devices and content distribution channels at their disposal. Unfortunately, I also realized that I am in no way like Christian Slater. I am so Anthony Michael Hall, especially in The Breakfast Club. I also wanted to thank you for being the first person to leave a comment. Comments make me happy.
