I was watching TV this evening. At one point, things on my screen slowed down and got ominously dark. I took a screenshot of my TV before the following ghostly image appeared:

Now I don’t seriously think that this was a ghost or an attempt at communication from beyond, but it was still kind of wicked cool.

As you can see, I’ve been mostly gone for awhile. I don’t know if that qualifies as my “Forty Days and Forty Nights” that I’ve been promising, but I’ve definitely been gone in a lot of ways. Over the past few months, I have experienced sick pets, dead pets, physical illness, getting laid off, getting hired, canceled trips, drunken stupors, commemoration of personal losses, long periods of getting lost in space and time (errr, is that getting lost in time and space), interning with the government, etc. I could have said that I was driven crazy by everything that’s gone on over the last couple of months, but it’s never really been that long of a drive.

Anyway, while I was taking a drive, I missed a lot of opportunities to comment on all the goings-on in the world. It was probably better to just leave it to the pros who were blogging about the failed economy and how Ron Paul told you so, evil politicians, violations of posse commitatus, how civilian protesters and veterans are being beaten, imprisoned and threatened with tear gas, Obama-Biden, McCain-Palin, Barr-Root, the groundwork for the New World Order and other topics you won’t hear about in the mainstream media until it’s too late.

Anyhow, for a recap of what’s happened, I would recommend that you check out the 22 blogs that have kept me in touch (and in some cases entertained). Here they are:

There you go. So be sure to shoot your TV, add these feeds to your favorite feed reader and open the virtual door to some interesting stuff.

I was watching the movie Serenity this evening. At a point during one of the loud, violent firefight scenes at the end of the movie, I hit the pause button and leaned back onto the living room sofa for a few moment of silences. After closing my eyes for a few minutes, I opened them and stared at the screen. I could see an evil-looking face staring right back at me. Can you see it?

It’s particularly fitting that the day after the election fell on November 5th this time around. I wonder how long it will be before most of the people who voted for Obama realize what kind of “change” he believes in. As I’ve said before, he’s already shown that he’s solidly set to be an agent of change on par with what George W. Bush has been these past eight years.

Today is the Day of the Martyrdom of the Holy Templars, as listed on the liturgical calendar of Gnostic organizations like the Ecclesia Gnostica. It is in recognition of the anniversary of the mass arrest and confiscation of Templars throughout France. This is the 701st anniversary of that event. I’m sure there are those who view this day with significance other than Gnostics, but of course, I’m not privy to their secrets.  ;-)

Anyway, there’s not much more that I can say that hasn’t been said already by Reverend Steven Marshall in his comprehensive homily for this special day of remembrance.
